Bahía de Los Angeles #2 | Baja trip | Day 5

One of the most relaxing days on that trip. It involved the beach and nothing but the beach. If you want to convince yourself to go to Bahía de Los Angeles, keep reading.

Every morning is like no other. Sofi woke up happy and playful. Memo played with her for half an hour or so to allow me to rest a little longer. That morning I woke up at 3 a.m. with intense anxiety and then again at 4 a.m. because of an upset stomach. That was no fun at all, so as the time approached 7 a.m. I buried my head under the pillow in hope of some rest.

You'd be surprised how much 30 minutes can do for somebody's mental health. Just a moment of quiet to get back up on your feet.

The day was exceptionally sunny too, so the good spirit was restored in no time.

Breakfast as usual with the help of PAW Patrol.

A fat seagull visited us to make sure we cleaned up thoroughly after ourselves.

I wouldn't consider Bahía de Los Angeles cold during winter. Everybody's experience with temperature is different, though, so please check the weather reports before planning a trip.

However, the winds are brutal there. Don't skip gloves, hats and scarves if you are going there during winter.

We had absolutely nowhere to be that day. Prepare yourself for many pictures of the beach. This post is essentially just that.

If you get too cold, just sit down for a moment. Little hills somewhat shelter you from the wind and the stones feel very warm on your bum after hours of toasting under the Mexican sun.

Don't freak out if everything seems like an HD simulation. This feeling doesn't go away. Nor should it. The views over there are breathtaking.

Watch out for wildlife. It's all over the place, and you really don't want to miss it.

Memo even fished out a few clams to show them to Sofi. They all turned out to be empty.

Eventually, we had to return to our car and leave our sweet spot on the beach. It was sure to be taken by another camper in our absence, but when you're out of toilet paper, you don't really have a choice.

Upon returning, we decided to give that place a thorough look.

That's how we found this spot.

It's remote so there is more privacy. And those hills protect from some of the wind.

This is dinner: vegetables with chickpeas, leftover totopos, a cup of wine/a cup of juice and probably a fruit later as a little snack.

And Marshal.

After a day of walking and battling winds, you bet we were tired.

So that's a good night from us. See you next Thursday.

Have a great day!
