6 things I love about my pregnancy

I am literally the laziest blogger there is. I promised myself to write at least 2 times a week and now look at me :P
Anyways, you probably can already tell that I love making lists. They are just the best, that’s all I can say. Today’s list is going to be about things I really like about being pregnant.
Pregnancy can be quite challenging, so let’s try and find something positive in it.
1.       My diet. I am this kind of person that eats everything. I am not picky, I don’t hate any kinds of food, so imagine me going through the store wanting everything. Before I got pregnant I especially loved pizza and chips or crisps with soda or some fizzy alcoholic beverage (not every day, of course, in case that bothered anyone). My metabolism is very fast so I don’t get fat that easy, therefore very often I don’t know when to stop eating fast food. When I found out I was pregnant I changed my diet dramatically and let me tell you: this is the best thing I’ve ever done for my body. Now everything I eat makes me feel healthy and happy, I feel more energetic, have better skin and hair. That guilty feeling I used to have after eating junk food all day is gone forever.
2.       Feeling my baby's kick. Let me just specify that I’m only 4 month pregnant, so the kicks that I’m talking about are still small and gentle. In a few month, maybe, this will be in a list of things I don’t like, but now it feels wonderful. I love my baby already, but with every little kick I love him/her just a little bit more.
3.       The feeling of a new beginning. Do you know this exciting feeling you get before going on a trip somewhere or making a big step in your life or career? I feel it every single day of my life. Excited, happy and inspired.
4.       Hormones. I have a belly. It is not big, but it is there. I can see, that I have a belly. Rationally I understand that I look a bit less attractive than before, but my hormonal brain just refuses to believe it. Despite my new shape, I have never felt more beautiful and sexy.
5.       Becoming fearless. 4 month of researching, reading and hearing different opinions about labor, recovery, not sleeping and raising a human being – all this is pretty scary, but somehow I’m not worried at all. I am going to have drug free labor, I am going to have a sleepless life and much more responsibilities and it doesn’t even slightly scare me. I feel brave, strong and unstoppable.
6.       Really getting to know my husband. After we moved in together and got married I thought that I knew everything about my husband. Pregnancy taught me otherwise. After long conversations about raising babies I realized how much more there is to the person I know. I never realized how patient, supportive, caring and open minded he was. It made me fall in love with him all over again.
So, there are the things that I personally love and enjoy the most about pregnancy. What are the things that you love? Let me know.
